Your data, moved cleanly.

I've built software and implemented data migration projects for 20 years. I've also sat on nonprofit boards and watched good organizations struggle with tasks like CRM migrations. I started Estuary Data to fix that.

What I Do

Three services for nonprofits dealing with platform changes and data problems.

Data Migration

Moving to a new platform can be stressful, especially if your existing staff isn't used to a project like this. I map everything before touching it, run the transfer carefully, and work with you to verify the output. You know exactly what you're getting before anything goes live.

Platform Integration

Your fundraising platform, case management system, and email tool probably don't talk to each other. I build the connections that move data automatically between them, so your staff stops entering the same thing in three places.

Data Cleanup

Before a migration or a board audit, it's worth knowing what's actually in your database. I deduplicate contacts, fix inconsistent records, and flag anything that needs attention. Not glamorous, but it makes everything else easier.

I work with nonprofits

I focus on small and mid-size organizations, usually 20 to 200 staff, that don't have a dedicated IT person to manage a project like this.

I've served on nonprofit boards for years and been in the room when these data problems come up: a migration tool that drops custom fields, a staff member who inherits a spreadsheet nobody understands, a database with four versions of the same donor. I know what these problems cost organizations. That's why I started this practice.

I have particular experience with organizations in special education and human services, where data accuracy affects compliance and funding. I know the platforms and I understand the stakes. You don't need a technical background to work with me.

How It Works

A straightforward process for organizations that don't have time to manage a complicated project.

Scoping Call

We talk through your data, your platforms, and your timeline. You get a clear picture of what the work involves and what it costs before anything starts. No surprises.

The Work

I handle the technical side. You review the output at key points and tell me if something looks off. I'm not handing you a project plan to manage.

Delivery

Clean files, a working integration, or both. I walk you through what was done and make sure your team is confident before we wrap up.

Recent Work

643 contacts. Zero lost records.

A Connecticut nonprofit needed to move their entire donor database to a new platform: contacts, giving history, custom fields. I scoped it in one call, finished in two weeks, and came in about $5,000 under what the vendor quoted for their own migration service.

"Testimonial coming soon."

Let's talk about your project

Tell me what you're working on and I'll get back to you the same day or next morning.
